The Patrick Henry Community College Foundation is seeking nominations for PHCC graduates to be named “Distinguished Alumni” during the Tenth Annual Awards Dinner. The deadline to make a nomination is February 22.
To be considered, nominees must have graduated with a degree or certificate or taken a minimum of 24 credit hours from PHCC. They must have demonstrated success within their chosen career or field of expertise, given significant community-based services and be able to attend the awards ceremony, slated for April 29.
“This award is a great honor for PHCC alums,” said Dr. Greg Hodges, executive director of the PHCC Foundation. “It recognizes the achievements of our students, and honors those who found Patrick Henry Community College to be a significant stepping stone to their overall success.”
Last year’s recipients were Patsy Anderson-Rusmisel (’82), Corbin Campbell (’99), Ernest L. Carter II (’92), Roxanne Collins (’95), Cameron Cooper (’05), Sharon Gilbert (’91), Alison Parker (’09), Kevin Reynolds (’79 and ‘80), Marcus Stone (’09), and Seberina Tatum (’08).
