Beginning Monday, June 5, a portion of Virginia 631 (Hunters Chapel Road) will be
closed to through traffic from 0.8 mile from Virginia 773 (Ararat Highway) to 1.0 mile from Virginia 675 (Friends Mission Road) for a bridge replacement over Ararat River.
Weather permitting, the road will re-open to traffic on Friday, June 30.
A detour and directional signs will be in place to help motorists.
