Patrick County Sheriff Dan Smith reported the following arrests:
- Mark Allen Mitchell, 54, Mount Airy, N.C., on Dec. 13, three counts pointing/brandishing a firearm, one count each possess firearm by convicted violent felon, statutory burglary (indictment), larceny of a firearm (indictment), destruction of property (indictment) and possess firearm by felon (indictment). Investigator T.K. Wilson made the arrest.
- Sammy Odell Coleman, 31, Stuart, charged Dec. 15 with possess Schedule I or II controlled substance. Arrest made by K.D. Mabe.
- Leonard George Branch Jr., 42, Martinsville, charged Dec. 16 with two counts profane/threatening language over public airway. Arrest made by Deputy Ronald Williams.
- Stephen Timothy Wilcox, 58, Spencer on Dec. 16, is being held as a material witness. Lt. David Jones placed him in custody.
- Christopher Alan Ramsey, 49, Spencer, charged on Dec. 17 with fail to comply with the terms of bond. Deputy Daniel Gray made the arrest.
- Marianna Elizabeth Lopez, 24, Stuart, on Dec. 17, probation violation. Deputy Christian Gilbert made the arrest.
- Robert Graham Hancock Jr. 25, Spencer, charged on Dec. 18 with destruction/damage and assault. Deputy Daniel Gray made the arrest.
- Steven Franklin Stanley, 50, Stuart, charged Dec. 18 with petty larceny. Deputy Dustin Foley made the arrest.
