Recently one of our patients was contacted, by telephone, with the caller stating they were working with Patrick County Family Practice regarding signing patients up for a diagnostic “Swab Test” that would check and diagnosis patients with 12 different types of illnesses, should they be present. The caller asks for the patient’s address and insurance information.
This is a SCAM and Patrick County Family Practice is not involved or participating with this entity. Our patient’s privacy and safety are of utmost concern. Should you receive a call from an unknown number or caller, please do not give them any personal or medical information until you verify the call is legitimate.
