The Lady Cougar Varsity Volleyball Team travelled to Chatham on Tuesday, September 13, and won in four sets: 18-25, 25-23, 25-12, 25-14.
Suzanne Gonzalez had 22 kills, 5 aces, 3 blocks and 8 digs to lead PC. Lainie Hopkins had 38 assists, 7 aces, 6 kills. Samantha Harris had 9 kills, 3 aces, and 8 digs. Lilly Byers added 19 digs and 2 aces.
On Tuesday, September 14, the Cougars hosted Floyd County, losing in four sets: 6-25, 18-25, 25-23, 12-25. Suzanne Gonzalez had 13 kills, 9 digs, and 5 aces.
Lainie Hopkins had 19 assists and 9 digs. Samantha Harris had 11 digs and 5 kills, while Kaylee Towler had 6 kills for Patrick County.
On Thursday, September 16, the Lady Cougars hosted the Lady Warriors of Magna Vista. PC lost in straight sets: 21-25, 19-25, 22-25. Suzanne Gonzalez had 19 kills, 10 digs, and 1 ace. Lilly Byers added 13 digs. The Lady Cougars are 6-4 on the season.
