The Patrick County Wrestling team competed in the Sarah Wilkes Invitational last Wednesday. The Cougars were one of the 23 teams in the tournament.
Aiden LaComa finished third overall while teammate finished in eighth place.
Head Coach Robert Cunningham said “Our guys were able to face off against elite competition that will prepare them well for our regionals. Our guys focused at the task at hand and competed well.”
The team next match with be at Dan River on Wednesday, Jan. 23.
