The Patrick County High School JV boys’ soccer team defeated Carroll County High School 8-0 last Wednesday at home.
The team scored four goals each half. Edgar Olivares and Daniel Silva both had three goals for the Cougars and Krishal Soma scored two.
“We played a good game tonight. We did some great things individually but we have a few things to work on as a team if we are going to continue our success into next week where the competition will be a lot tougher,” said Head Coach Adrian Edwards of the win.
“Overall I am very proud of these guys and we have a very promising season ahead of us,” he concluded.
The Cougars will face the Bulldogs from Martinsville next Monday, April 9. Start time is 5:30 p.m.
