Patrick Henry Community College at the Patrick County site is hosting an open house and advising and registration session for summer and fall 2017 on Tuesday, April 18.
The open house is from 5 to 8 p.m. in the community room on the Stuart campus. The advising and registration is from 4 to 6 p.m. in room 105.
During the open house, interested community members and students can find out more about the programs PHCC offers, financial aid, scholarships, and available student resources.
Many of PHCC’s community partners are joining the open house to discuss future educational and career opportunities and available community resources. While discovering opportunities and resources, attendees can enjoy free food and enter to win a $500 scholarship for fall 2017.
During the advising and registration sessions, meet with an advisor to get a schedule and register for fall and summer classes. Patrick County offers more than a dozen core courses such as Biology, American Literature, and Pre-Calculus.
The Patrick County site, located at 212 Wood Brothers Drive in Stuart, offers many of the services available at the main campus in Martinsville including placement testing, advising, Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) completion assistance, a computer lab, and tutoring.
