The CPT Training Program at Patrick Henry Community College is comprised of four courses that prepare students for the MSSC Certified Production Technician (CPT) assessments.
CPT is the national certification supported by the National Association of Manufacturers.
Courses include:
• MSSC CPT: Safety
Meets Tuesday and Thursday, Jan. 31-Feb. 23, 9 to 11:50 a.m.;
• MSSC CPT: Quality Practices and Measurement
Meets Tuesday and Thursday, Feb. 28-March 30, 9 to 11:50 a.m.;
• MSSC CPT: Manufacturing Processes and Production
Meets Tuesday and Thursday, April 4-27, 9 to 11:50 a.m.;
• MSSC CPT: Maintenance Awareness
Meets Tuesday and Thursday, May 2-25, 8 to 11:50 a.m.
The full price of the course is: $2,557.96. With assistance from the Workforce Credentials Grant, the price is $852.65. Eligible students pay just 30% of the tuition with the help from the grant. Additional funding assistance may be available.
Tuition for each course includes materials and assessments.
