The Patrick Henry Community College site in Patrick County is holding Fast Pass Enrollment for fall 2016 on Thursday, August 4. From 3-6 p.m., with faculty advisors and financial aid representatives on hand, students can apply, take a placement test, receive financial aid assistance, or register for the fall semester.
Fall 2016 classes start August 18. The following classes are available at the Patrick County Site:
BIO 101, General Biology I with lab; BUS 200, Principles of Management; CST 110, Intro to Speech Communication; ENF 3, Preparing for College English; ENG 111, College Composition I; ENG 112, College Composition II;
ENG 251, Survey of World Literature I; HIS 121, United States History I; ITE 115, Intro to Computer Apps/Concepts; ITE 119, Information Literacy; ITE 140, Spreadsheet Software; MTH 120, Introduction to Mathematics;
MTE 15, Mathematics for Liberal Arts; MTT 1, Developmental Mathematics I; PSY 200, Principles of Psychology; and SDV 108, College Survival Skills.
The Patrick County site, located at 212 Wood Brothers Drive in Stuart, offers many of the services available at the main campus in Martinsville including placement testing, advising, Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) assistance, a computer lab, and tutoring.
Students do not have to wait until Fast Pass Enrollment in order to be advised and registered. For those who cannot make it on August 4, call (276) 694-8778 for advising assistance. Students can also enroll in main-campus and online courses through the Patrick County site.
