The Patrick County Library announced that K. Joanne Hill’s photography is on display for the month of August.
Hill’s exhibit, “The Colors of the Seasons at Alice T. DeHart Park,” features color photographs taken by Hill throughout the seasons at the park.
Hill is a graduate of Stuart High School and Radford University (B.A., M.A., B.S.). She is an original member of the Patrick Henry Photography Club at the Reynolds Homestead under the tutelage of Sam Davis. Hill started photography as a hobby at the age of 60 when receiving a digital camera for her 60th birthday. She has attended many photography workshops in Virginia, North Carolina, and West Virginia.
Hill is retired from Patrick County Public Schools, where she served as a speech pathologist and visiting teacher. She is a frequent user of the Patrick County Branch of the Blue Ridge Regional Library system.
