The DeHart Park Pool opened Monday, and outlined new policies and procedures as a result of the pandemic.
Among the policies implemented are no more than 50 people are allowed in the pool at one time, patrons must use social distancing, and are required to bring their own chairs, life-jackets, goggles and toys. Sharing of those items is prohibited.
The slides will not be available, however, the diving board is open.
Concessions are not available, but visitors may bring coolers. No alcohol and no glass containers are allowed.
Only one person or family is allowed in the restroom at one time.
The pool is open daily, but closes every two hours for cleaning.
Hours are Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; 1:15 to 3:15 p.m.; 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. and 5:45 to 6:45 p.m.
On Sunday, the pool is open from 1:15 to 3:15 p.m.; 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. and 5:45 to 6:45 p.m.
Those aged 4 and under are admitted free.
Fees for those aged 5 and over are $4 for early pool times and $2 for the final pool time each day. Extra sessions are half-price.
