Beginning Monday, October 7, at 8 a.m. Virginia 771 (Willis Gap Mountain Road) will be closed from Virginia 677 (Willis Gap Road) to the Blue Ridge Parkway.
This road closure is necessary for slope stabilization and pavement repairs. Weather permitting, the road is expected to re-open at 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 11.
All motorists should use caution during this time and follow the directional signs.
