We met Sherri Hazlewood, deputy clerk, at the Patrick County Courthouse while researching documents for our family history. She has been an invaluable resource to us not only by answering our questions but also giving us tips to help transcribe old deeds and documents.
We have done research at other courthouses and have not had the same positive response as we have at Patrick County with Mrs. Hazlewood. We do not know, nor have we met the other candidates, but we strongly believe that Sherri Hazlewood, with her 28 years of experience serving the citizens of Patrick County, is the most qualified candidate for the position of the clerk of court and she definitely has our vote.We urge you to cast your vote for Sherri Hazlewood for clerk of court on November 7.George and Sheila Turner
