The Patrick County School Board will hold a reception for retirees on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. The reception will be followed by a board meeting at 10 a.m. Both will be held in the Patrick County School Board Office.

In addition to the consent calendar that includes minutes from the previous meeting, regular invoices, monthly financial report and the revised 2018-19 budget, the board will discuss the new business of selecting a delegate, according to the agenda.

The board then is slated to meet in closed session to discuss the monthly discipline report to include admission or disciplinary matters or other matters that would involve disclosure of information contained in a scholastic record.

The board also will meet in closed session to discuss personnel reports. Discussion may include consideration or interviews of prospective candidates for employment, assignment, appointment, promotion, performance, demotion, salaries, disciplining or resignation of board employees. The discussion will include religious exemption, according to the agenda.
