The Red Bank Ruritan Club met on Feb. 5. Checks were donated to special community needs as follows:
CCDF Fire and Rescue $250; Blue Ridge Elementary $250; Ararat Rescue Squad $250; Ararat Fire Volunteer Department $250; Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Hill, of Dry Pond, $250 due to a home fire; Larry Jones, of Dry Pond, $250 due to a recent illness and surgery.
