The Patrick County site of Patrick Henry Community College is holding fall 2017 advising and registration on Tuesday, August 8.
Faculty advisors and financial aid staff will be on site from 3 to 6 p.m.The following courses will be offered at the Patrick County site for the fall semester, which begins August 18: Basic Spoken Spanish I, Calculus I, College Composition I, College Survival Skills, Developmental Math, General Biology I (with lab), Introduction to Computer Applications and Concepts;
Information Literacy, Mathematics for Liberal Arts I, Pre-calculus I, Preparing for College English, Principles of Psychology, Small Business Management, Survey of American Literature II, and U.S. History I.
The following training opportunities will also be available at the Patrick County site this fall through PHCC’s Workforce Development department: Electrical Groundsman, Management Bootcamp, Microsoft Office 2013, OSHA 30 Training Program and Commercial Driver’s License Training.

Students seeking to register at PHCC’s main campus in Martinsville may attend a two-day registration marathon scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday, August 2 and 3. The open advising and registration sessions will be held in Suite 240 of the Walker Fine Arts/Student Center on the Martinsville campus anytime between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Admissions representatives, advisors, and financial aid experts will be on hand to help students through every step of the registration process. Students can apply for admissions, financial aid, complete any required placement tests, meet with academic advisors, and/or register for classes. Classes start August 18. At any time before classes begin, students can start the registration process by dropping in to Walker 240 or by contacting PHCC’s advising center at advising@patrickhenry.edu or (276) 656-5482.The Patrick County site, located at 212 Wood Brothers Drive in Stuart, offers many of the services available at the main campus in Martinsville including placement testing, advising, free application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) completion assistance, a computer lab, community gym, and tutoring.For more information, call (276) 694-8778.
