The Patrick County Retired Teachers Association (PCRTA) provided medicated shampoo to local schools. The project has been ongoing for two years. The project is to help provide medicated shampoo to destroy head lice.
The shampoo is available for free in all local elementary schools as well as the high school. It will be distributed by school nurses to parents of children that are infected.
Those that contributed to this project include Clark Gas and Oil Company, Big A Church of Christ, Family Pharmacy, Patrick County Family Practice and the PCRTA.
