Richard Madison “Ricky” Cassell, age 61, of Patrick Springs, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2016, at his home.
He was born in Bedford County on March 13, 1955, to the late Rev. William Madison Cassell and Princeanna Dillon Cassell.
He was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Patrick Springs.
Surviving are one brother, Edward Lee aCassell of Crewe; two sisters, Anne Holmes of Muscle Shoals, Ala., and Dorothy Bates of Gastonia, N.C.; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service was held Saturday at Mountain View Church of God of Prophecy on Mountain View Church Road in Patrick Springs with Rev. Tom Warren officiating.
