The Virginia Department of Transportation announced that beginning Monday, March 18, Virginia 622 (Deer Run Road), between Virginia 797 (Fawn Road) and the Franklin County line, will be closed to through traffic.
The closure is necessary to replace the bridge over Poplar Camp Creek. Weather permitting, the road is expected to re-open on Friday, March 29.
All motorists should use caution during this time and follow the directional signs placed to assist the traveling public.
