The Patrick County School Board discussed the upcoming 2026 Virginia School Board Association (VSBA) spring networking forum at its February 19 meeting.
The forum is scheduled for April 14 and will be hosted in the Patrick County Public Schools conference room.
Chairman Amy Walker, of the Mayo River District, will serve as its regional chairman.
Andrea Cassell, Assistant Superintendent of Instruction, said she believes this is the first time Patrick County has hosted this event.
“So that’s pretty exciting that we’ll have folks coming to see what we offer our students and to get a glimpse of Patrick County, and we’re just excited about that,” she said.
Walker said she’s looking forward to having everyone at the forum.
