The cost of lunch for students enrolled in Patrick County Public Schools is increasing, according to a notice from the Food Services Division.

The cost of elementary school lunches will go from $1.85 to $1.95.

Meals at the Patrick County High School will increase, from $1.95 to $2, according to the notice.

The increases were necessary due to a notice from the Virginia Department of Education, which informed the division must increase the lunch prices this year.
