Williams Shakespeare’s words will come to life in Stokes County on Saturday, April 29, as The Arts Place of Stokes hosts Triad Shakesperience’s Trojan War.
Adapted by Rob Taylor from one of Shakespeare’s least performed plays, this new production, presented as a staged reading, discards the love story of Troilus and Cressida in favor of a focus on the better known events surrounding Agamemnon, Ajax, Hector, and Achilles.
Triad Shakesperience will present the reading and has successfully produced classics, new, and underperformed plays in and around the Piedmont of North Carolina for the entertainment and education of audiences since 2012.
The reading is free, with donations accepted.
