The Patrick County 4-H Share the Fun Talent Show was held on Friday, March 4, at Patrick County High School in Stuart.
Kinsleigh Harris won the overall award in the junior division with her variety performance to “In the Name of Love,” by Bebe Rexha and Martin Garrix.
Adrieanna Gause won the overall award in the senior division with her vocal performance to “I Will Always Love You,” by Whitney Houston.
The senior overall winner and junior category winners will advance to the 2022 Area Contest, to be held virtually in April, where they will compete with students from Floyd, Giles, Montgomery and Pulaski counties.
In the junior division, Sheyan Lester, was chosen to move on to the 2022 Area Contest, where Sheyan will compete in the combination category. She received a blue ribbon for her combination of vocal and musical cup performance of “Cup Song” by Anna Kendrick.
In the junior division, Kinsleigh Harris, was chosen to move on to the 2022 Area Contest to compete in the variety category. She received a blue ribbon for her acrobatic performance to “In the Name of Love” by Bebe Rexha and Martin Garrix.
In the junior division, Presley Combs, Rain Davis, Kayleen Wood, and Meredith Wood, were chosen to move on to the 2022 Area Contest, where the group will compete in the dance category. Each received blue ribbons for their original dance performance to “Italian Mambo” by Dean Martin.
In the junior division, Emma Purdy, was chosen to move on to the 2022 Area Contest to compete in the vocal category. She received a blue ribbon for her vocal performance of “Coat of Many Colors” by Dolly Parton.
In the junior division, Camdon Fain, was chosen to move on to the 2022 Area Contest to compete in the instrumental category. He received a blue ribbon for his performance of “Alabama Jubilee” on banjo.
In the junior division, Savannah Fain, received a blue ribbon for her performance of “Rolling in the Deep” by Adele in the vocal category. In the junior division, William Wood received a blue ribbon for his card trick performance in the variety category.
In the senior division, Adrieanna Gause, received a blue ribbon in the vocal category for her performance of “I Will Always Love You” by Whitney Houston.
In the senior division, Haley Rakes, received a blue ribbon for her performance of “Isabella’s Lullaby” by Takahiro Obata on piano in the instrumental category.
In the senior division, Alyssa Callahan received a blue ribbon for her performance of “My Jesus” by Anne Wilson in the vocal category.
Stage manager included Christian Pendleton, along with judges Patty Hazelwood and Nick Pendleton. Master of Ceremonies included Elian Pendleton. This show would not be possible without the Elementary School Talent Show managers, sound engineers, judges, and emcees.
“We are truly thankful for the support of all of the faculty, staff, and parents at each elementary school that make this show possible,” a release stated.
