Sheriff Dan Smith reported the following arrests:
•Matthew Lee Bowman, 27, of Claudville, was arrested Jan. 17 on charges of soliciting a child under the age of 15 and failure to appear in court.
Deputy Bradley Webb made the arrest.
•Joshua Lee Marshall, 31, of Martinsville, was arrested Jan. 13 on a charge of possession of Ab-Chiminaca.
Deputy Matthew Rorrer made the arrest.
•Michael Lance Boyer, 27, of Meadows of Dan, was arrested Jan. 15 on a charge of impersonating a law enforcement officer.
State Trooper K.D. Mabe made the arrest.
•Alex Daniel Cox, 34, of Stuart, was arrested Jan. 13 on a charge of making a false statement to a law enforcement officer in charge of animal control.
Deputy Winfred Hill made the arrest.
•Amber Nicole Gibson, 29, of Stuart, was arrested Jan. 13 on a charge of making a false statement to a law enforcement officer in charge of animal control.
Deputy Hill made the arrest.
•Dominique Cornelius D. Grant, 28, of Martinsville, was arrested Jan. 14 on a charge of failure to appear for trial.
The Martinsville Police Department made the arrest for Patrick County.
•Vernon Leon Henry Charles, 31, of Spencer, was arrested Jan. 15 on a charge of failure to appear in court on a felony offense.
Deputy Dustin Foley made the arrest.
•Coleman Lee Hale, 36, of Patrick Springs, was arrested Jan. 16 on a charge of driving a motor vehicle with a suspended or revoked license, third or subsequent offense.
Deputy Shawn Keffer made the arrest.
•Chuck Hawks, 46, of Ararat, was arrested Jan. 17 on a charge of damaging property.
Deputy Jason Kruse made the arrest.
•Christopher Dwayne Simmons Jr., 21, of Stuart, was arrested Jan. 18 on a charge of damaging property.
Deputy Keffer made the arrest.
•Stacy Alexander Foley, 38, of Stuart, was arrested Jan. 20 on a charge of failure to appear for trial.
Investigator Danny Martin made the arrest.
•Leah Diane Hale, 32, of Stuart, was arrested Jan. 20 on three counts of failure to appear for trial.
Deputy Linda Martin made the arrest.
•Jayson Luther Hill, 22, of Ararat, was arrested Jan. 19 on a charge of failure to appear in court.
Deputy Jacob Hubbard made the arrest.
•Kristy Ragin, 27, of Danville, was arrested Jan. 20 on a capias for failure to appear in court.
The Danville Police Department made the arrest for Patrick County.
•James Daniel Biggs, 25, of Critz, was arrested Jan. 21 on charges of violating a Virginia Alcohol Safety Action Program (VASAP) order and contempt of court.

•Jami Fitzgerald Justice, 23, of Stuart, was arrested Jan. 21 on a capias for failure to appear in court.

•Cindy Lawson, 55, of Danbury, N.C., was arrested Jan. 21 on a charge of shoplifting.

•Linda Fulp Rogers, 62, of Westfield, N.C., was arrested Jan. 21 on a charge of shoplifting.

•Amber Lea Marshall, 23, of Ararat, was arrested Jan. 23 on charges of failure to appear for trial and grand larceny of a motor vehicle.

•Sharon King Duncan, 49, of Ararat, was arrested Jan. 25 on a charge of possession of a firearm by a non-violent felon within a 20-year period.
