Patrick County Sheriff Dan Smith reported the following arrests:
- Justin Coy Joyce, 23, of Bassett, was charged April 8 reckless with handling of a firearm. Conservation Officer B. Clawon made the arrest.
- Arnold Wayne Foley, 47, of Bassett, was charged April 10 with profane searing or public intoxication. Trooper J.M. Hylton made the arrest.
- Daniel Kurt Spencer, 41, of Stuart, was charged April 11 with fail to appear. Martinsville City made the arrest for Patrick County.
- Michaela Jae Barnard, 19, of the Patrick County Jail, was charged April 11 with assault and battery. Investigator D.L. Martin made the arrest.
- Michael Wayne Hughes, 53, of Ararat, was charged April 12 with fail to appear. Deputy D. Dillon made the arrest.
- John Dewayne McPherson, 54, of Stuart, was charged April 12 with public swearing or public intoxication. Deputy S.R. Keffer made the arrest.
- Joseph Ray Walton, 28, of Stuart, was charged April 13 with one count each trespassing and possessing a firearm as a nonviolent felon convicted within 10 years. Deputy D.L. Foley made the arrest.
- David Sobolewski, 38, of Meadows of Dan, was charged April 13 with two counts violating a protective order and one count assault and battery. Investigator Linda Martin made the arrest.
- Gary Wayne Tilley Jr., 32, of Stuart, was charged April 13 with fail to appear. Sergeant B.S. Webb made the arrest.
