The Patrick County Chamber of Commerce is inviting everyone to “Shop Small” in Patrick County with Small Business Saturday.
The event is about more than just shopping at local stores. It’s about celebrating and sharing the small businesses that are part of our lives from corner stores, to family owned eateries to vendors at the farmers’ market.
They’re the places we call our own and can’t imagine living without.
Small Business Saturday was created in 2010 to help support small businesses and the communities that we love.
Since then, it’s become a holiday shopping tradition that leaves many feeling inspired to ‘Shop Small’ year-round.
It’s these businesses and the people behind them that make our communities unique. And, when they succeed, we all succeed.
On Nov. 24, join friends, family and others to Shop Small throughout Patrick County.
The Meadows of Dan Christmas Parade will be held on the same day, and that community also is a great little area to shop local, with offerings from Nancy’s Candy, Poor Farmers’ Market, Country Cupboard, Concord Corner Store, Christmas in the Meadows, Meadows of Dan Grocery, and Poor Farmers’ Farm. Come and shop, then stay for the parade at 3 p.m.
