Come by the Patrick County Library on Thursday, July 20 from 5 to 6 p.m. and learn how to make soap from veteran soap maker Michele Bell of Soap n’ Unique.
The event is part of the Patrick County Library’s decision to highlight some of the vendors and products available at the Stuart Farmers’ Market.
Bell will offer a brief history of soap-making, describe the various types of soap-making, and talk about the ingredients and equipment needed to make soap. She also will demonstrate the easiest and safest of all of the soap making arts: melt and pour.
This program is free and open to the public.
