Beginning in the fall semester, Surry Community College will offer a Spanish Language Certificate program.
The new program is ideal for anyone who would like to become more proficient in Spanish. All of the courses applied to the certificate can also be used to help satisfy graduation requirements for the Associate in Arts and Associate in Science degrees and are part of the Comprehensive Articulation Agreement, which means these classes will be accepted at state universities if a “C” average is maintained.
This certification consists of 18 credit hours over the course of a fall, spring, and summer semester, and can help to satisfy major or minor requirements at transfer institutions.
Surry is currently enrolling students for the fall semester. The deadline to register for fall classes is August 1. Classes begin August 15.
