A Special Election will be held on November 5 to fill the vacancy that exists in the Dan River District seat on the Patrick County Board of Supervisors. The winner of the election will fill the remainder of the unexpired term.
The deadline to file is 5 p.m. on August 16.
Candidate packets are available at the Registrar’s Office, or you may download forms at https://www.elections.virginia.gov/candidatepac-info/becoming-a-candidate/.
The Registrar’s Office is located in the Patrick County Administration Building, 106 Rucker Street, Room 216C, Stuart, and is open 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday – Friday.
