Trick or treating will be only half the fun as the fourth annual Stuart Spooktacular gets underway on Wednesday, Oct. 31.
Main Street will be transformed with sights of the season and festivities that include costume contests, karaoke and lip sync battles, a table/booth decoration competition, a Jack O’ Lantern display and more.
The festivities kick off at 5:30 p.m., along with judging for the Table Decoration Contest.
Costume contests for adults, kids, pets, and groups will take place at 6:30 p.m., near the bottom of Main Street.
Lip sync and karaoke contests will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Mattie B’s porch.
To participate in either the lip sync or the karaoke contests, register at Mattie B’s before the event.
The Spooktacular would not be possible without the support of the community and the businesses, individuals, civic groups, and others who volunteer to set up and hand out treats.
Those interested in helping must register with the Chamber of Commerce Office by filling out a Vendor Participation Form, located at https://goo.gl/o9Znte or by calling (276) 694-6012. For more information, visit the chamber’s website at www.patrickchamber.com.
