I am concerned for the safety and wellbeing of all of us because of those who denigrate the antiCOVID-19 vaccines that are being offered and who have loudly opted not to take one (instead of making it a quiet personal decision).
I am also concerned for those who say, “God will take care of me therefore I don’t need a vaccine.” I wonder if they are talking about the same God Who has created us to be thinking creatures and Who has endowed certain ones of us to be scientists who make discoveries – if not imperfect ones.
I am reminded of the beautiful poem “Footprints — During times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints in the sand, it was then that I carried you.”
Behind some of us, you’ll notice that we were dragged, not carried, because of our rebellious nature. Smile! God Loves You!
Take the vaccine when you can get it. Go to vaccinate.virginia.gov for information.
