Patrick County’s Women’s Tennis Team defeated Martinsville on Monday, March 18 in Singles, Patrick County was 6-0 against the Lady Bulldogs. Madison Wright defeated Trinity Preston 8-1, Emily Wood defeated Kendall Compton 8-2, Caroline Vernon defeated Alexis Plunkett 8-4, Elleigh Large defeated Kayla Mooro 8-4, Kaylee Stanley defeated TK Waller 8-2, and Joelle Holderman defeated Tamia Younger 8-0.
In the doubles category, Patrick County was 2-1 against Martinsville. Madison Wright/Emily Wood defeated Alexis Plunkett/Atateanna Cobs 8-1, Caroline Vernon/Elleigh Large defeated Ashlan Cook/Trinity Preston 8-1,
Makayla Evans/Anubis’s Hairston defeated Joelle Holderman/Skye Mitchell.
