The Patrick County Board of Supervisors will hold two public hearings when it meets on Monday, Nov. 8, in the Patrick County Administration Building.
The meeting is scheduled for the 6 p.m., with the first public hearing set for 6:15 p.m. in the third-floor courtroom of the Patrick County Veteran’s Memorial Building.
The first hearing is on a proposed Wills and Administration Tax Ordinance.
A second hearing, set for 6:30 p.m. is on the Transient Occupancy Tax Ordinance.
Also on Monday, the board will hear a report from Acting Patrick County School Superintendent Dr. David Martin.
The board will consider old business that includes a by-laws review for the Planning Commission; VACo Conference; Administrator’s Report and Supervisor’s Committee Report.
The board may meet in closed session to discuss personnel, legal, contract and real estate matters, pertaining to several items, including the Child Advocacy Center, County Administrator Contract Addendum and appointments to other local boards.
The administration building is located at 106 Rucker Street in Stuart.
