Una Adkins LaPrade (Tootsie), 85, died on Monday, September 26,2016, at Hock Family Pavilion Hospice in Durham, N.C.
She was born on September 10, 1931, in Patrick County to the late Drucilla Walker Adkins and John Doss Adkins.
She was longtime employee and retiree of DuPont.
Surviving are her husband, Bobby LaPrade of Ridgeway; and a daughter, Carol LaPrade Cadle of Charleston, S.C. She is also survived by nieces in the local area and nephews in northern Virginia.
There will be a private internment ceremony held for the family members and friends in Ocean Lakes, Surfside Beach, S.C.
