The Patrick County Varsity Golf Team brought home a 2A State Championship Runner-Up Title on October 12.
The Cougars had a score of 335, second only to the score of 326 shot by State Champions, Floyd County. Wesley Roberson led the Cougars with a score of 75. David Smith shot an 80, while Jalen Hagwood and Noah Jessup tied with a score of 90.
Coach Philip Steagall said, “This has been a great year for our golf team. I am very proud of each player we have and for the hard work they put in the past season.”
