The Varsity Boys Soccer team got a big 5-4 road win over Tunstall on May 7. Krishal Soma started the scoring for the Cougars on a penalty kick in the third minute of the game. Four minutes later, Soma chipped a shot over the head of the keeper from a pass by Edgar Olivares. In the 27th minute, Burke Gonzalez scored on a penalty kick, giving the Cougars a 3-0 win. At minute 42, Tunstall’s Andre Zaher put the Trojans on the board. Marvin Gonzalez answered for the Cougars as he hit a low shot to the corner of the net off a Daniel Silva cross. Gonzalez got a header above the keeper off of a pass by Luis Ramirez, adding another Patrick County goal. Tunstall made a run, scoring three goals near the end of the game, but they were not able to make up the deficit. PC keeper, Martin Morse, had nine saves on goal.
