The Patrick County Varsity Softball team lost to Tunstall 10-9 in 9 innings on the road Tuesday, May 18. Katherine Beckett pitched 3 innings and Abigail Epperson pitched 6 in the loss.
Abigail Epperson had 2 hits with a home run. Danielle King had 2 hits with 3 RBIs. Lauren Fulcher and Brooke Meade had 2 hits each.
The Lady Cougars defeated Bassett 17-5 on Thursday, May 20.
Brooke Meade got the win in the circle pitching 4 innings with 6 strikeouts. Katherine Beckett finished the game with 2 strikeouts.
Danielle King, Gracelyn Hubbard, and Jordan Haas had 3 hits each. Laine Hopkins had a 2-run homerun, and Lauren Fulcher had a 2 RBI double. Haas had 5 RBI’s and King added 4. Gracelyn Hubbard crossed the plate 3 times in the win.
