Patrick County Varsity Volleyball season came to an end last Tuesday with a loss in the regionals to Hidden Valley.

The Lady Cougars lost in straight sets—13-25, 7-25, and 10-25.
Erin Keith, Suzanne Gonzalez, and Savannah Roberts all had two kills each, Taylor Vernon led the team with 5 assists and Jenna King added 9 digs and 2 aces.
Coach Heidi Moore said of the season that it was full of ups and downs, and despite the 7-15 record there was a lot of matches “that could have went either way.”
Moore said she is “proud of how hard the team played to the end of each game.” The team will lose eight seniors including Roberts, Vernon, King, as well as star players Izzy Beasley and Ashlee Mesot.
