The Virginia Board of Education will host virtual public hearings for the proposed Driver Education and Physical Education Standards of Learning. Information on each public hearing is listed below. To participate, register in advance. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the public hearing.
If you wish to address the Board on the proposed Driver Education and Physical Education Standards of Learning, email Vanessa.wigand@doe.virginia.gov. Both public hearings are open to the public and will be livestreamed on the VDOE YouTube channel.
The first hearing was held Feb. 8. The second Driver Education & Physical Education SOL Virtual Public Hearing will be held on Wednesday, February 16, at 7:30 p.m.
