Violet Ruby Hylton Prillaman, 87, of Woolwine, VA died on Saturday September 26, 2020 at Blue Ridge Therapy Connection in Stuart, VA. She was born on January 19, 1933 in Patrick county, VA to the late Vinda Hall Hylton and Jessie Estel Hylton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Earnest Prillaman, two deceased sisters; Rodeliah Hylton Turner, Pansy Hylton Griggs, five brothers; Charlie Hylton, Sanford Hylton, Alvin Hylton, Odellis Hylton, Oliver Hylton, several nieces and nephews.
She was of the Baptist faith and worked at Lacy manufacturing for thirty seven years.
Surviving are one sister; Rosebud Morrison of Woolwine, VA and one brothers Merrion Hylton and wife Judy of Mayodan, NC.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday September 30, 2020 at Woolwine United Methodist Church Cemetery with Pastor Bud Nichols officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Wednesday at the graveside.
Due to the covid-19 outbreak, all restrictions mandated by the guidelines set forth by the state must be followed.
