The Patrick County Varsity Volleyball Team hosted Halifax in the first round of the Piedmont District Tournament on October 21.
The Lady Cougars took the win in an exciting 5 set match, with scores 17-25, 25-15, 25-21, 23-25, 15-7. Samantha Harris had 10 kills and 5 blocks. Lilly Hazelwood had 10 kills and 2 blocks. Lainie Hopkins had 34 assists, 4 kills, and 9 digs. Kaitlyn Johnson had 24 digs and 4 aces. Kaylee Towler had 4 kills and 4 aces.
Bryley Pike had 5 aces, and Lilly Byers added 4 aces and 3 kills.
