Volunteers are needed for the Woolwine October Festival Community Apple Peeling from 8 a.m. until on Wednesday, October 11. Lunch will be provided.
Volunteers to start making the apple butter are needed on Thursday, October 12 at 4 a.m. and at 8:30 a.m. to help with fried apple pie making in the cottage. Lunch is provided for volunteers.
Volunteers also are needed for making apple butter on Friday, October 13.
The festival begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 14. It will end around 4 p.m.
The festival will be held on the Woolwine Volunteer Fire Department Grounds in Woolwine. Admission is free.
Festival goers will enjoy music, dancing, apple butter sale and crafts.
Hot dogs are available and ham plates are back.
Fried apple pies will be offered, as will a bake sale and beverages.
Craft vendors may set up for no fee.
