The Reynolds Homestead announced that Linda Wilson and Ruthie Harnsberger, both of Stuart, were named Volunteers of the Year at a dinner honoring sponsors and volunteers on January 19.

Historical services assistant Beth Almond Ford praised Wilson and Harnsberger for their hard work.

“For a number of years, volunteers Linda Wilson and Ruthie Harnsberger have readily said ‘Yes!’ to helping out at the Reynolds Homestead. Linda is both an historical guide at the plantation home and a volunteer at our varied events. Ruthie often works with our office staff, assists at our music programs, clips articles about the Homestead in the local media, and assists in hosting receptions.

“We can’t say enough about these two!”
