Wayne Joseph Williams, 79, of Patrick Springs, VA, died on Sunday, August 30, 2020 at Sovah Hospital in Martinsville, VA. He was born on March 15, 1941 in Stokes County, NC to the late Lura Ellen Williams and Joseph Emmitt Williams. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters.
Surviving are his wife, Lorene Williams of the home, two daughters, Sandra Brooks (Paul) , Carolyn Walthall (Tommy) both of Bassett, VA, one sister, Cindy Carr of Patrick Springs, VA, one brother, Willie Williams of Richmond, VA, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, two step– daughters, one step-son and one special nephew, Leon Joyce.
