The 19th annual 2019 Wayside Bluegrass Music Festival will be held Wednesday through Saturday, July 17-20 at Wayside Park, 332 Wayside Park Road in Stuart.
Jimmy Handy and Marcie Horne will serve as festival emcees at the event that will be held rain or shine.
The event includes “a to be announced” group of pickers and players — invited musicians who be among performers taking the stage.
On Thursday, July 18, the musical entertainment begins at 5 p.m. with five bands set to perform, including Wound Tight, The Country Boys and the Bluegrass Brothers.
The music festivities begin at 1 p.m. on Friday, July 19, with an open mic, proceeded by performers that include Jason Harris & Friends at 2 p.m.
Mountain Highway, GoodFellers, Larry Cordle and Lonesome Standard Time, Lonesome River Band also are set to perform.
The roster for Saturday, July 20 includes performances starting at 1 p.m., with Johnny and Jeanette Williams followed by Sideline, Junior Sisk, Mickey Gaylean & Cullen’s Bridge and Deer Creek Boys listed among the scheduled performers.
The lineup is subject to without notice and there are no refunds.
The annual Golf Cart Poker Run also will be held on Saturday, beginning at 11 a.m. All golf carts must show proof of insurance with an insurance certificate.
The fest is a family event. Children 9 and under are admitted free with a parent. Public display of alcoholic beverages in the concert area is not allowed. Pets are not permitted in the concert area and must be on a leash elsewhere in the park.
Primitive campsites are available for $5 per night; campsites with electrical hookup is available for $20 a night. The venue offers free parking, electrical hookups, water availability to fill tanks, clean flush toilets and showers.
