On behalf of the Meadows of Dan Elementary School Back Pack Program, we extend heart felt gratitude to all who have made monetary donations and given of their time and energy to keep at risk students supplied with nutritious, tasty weekend meals.
This outreach would not be possible without your concern for the wellbeing of the children in our community and your tremendous generosity. We have been sending home packages of food the first week students returned to school and additional food has been ordered to meet the need.
The Board members and volunteers of the backpack program look forward to working with Mrs. Amy Nester, our new principal at Meadows of Dan, facility and staff during the 2020-21 school year as we work together to help ensure the health and safety of our children. Once again, thank you to all who assist in making the Back Pack Program a success!
If you would like to make a donation to the MODES Back Pack Program, you may simply go to the BB & T Bank’s drive-in window in Meadows of Dan, located across the road from the Family Dollar Store at the intersection of Willis Road and Jeb Stuart Highway, let the teller know you would like to make a donation to the Meadows of Dan Back Pack Program and they will deposit your gift directly into the Back Pack checking Account.
