More! More! More!
More Covid cases, means more hospitalizations, and that means more blood needed to help folks beat Covid and other illnesses.
So, come to the mountains, specifically to Meadows of Dan’s Community Center next Wednesday, January 27th, between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m., and donate at our first 2021 Blood Drive.
Our dream this year is to beat 2020’s record number of donations. They totaled 219 and that was 105 more than in 2019. Amazing! Our dream this year is 300 donations, and we’ve added a sixth Blood Drive to help make that happen. When we reach that goal, it will mean 81 more donations in 2021 than 2020. Even more amazing.
Please help make that happen. Right now, even before you finish reading this paper, dial 1-800-RED CROSS and schedule your donation time for next Wednesday. And, while you’re at it, put the following mountaintop 2021 Blood Drive dates on your calendar: March 24, May 26, July 28, September 22 and December 1.
Why come to Meadows of Dan next Wednesday? Well, it’s beautiful countryside, filled with nice folks to welcome you and serve you, Nancy’s Fudge is amply available to help rebuild the sugar in your blood supply, your one–pint blood donation saves three lives; and, as we say about Meadows of Dan, it is “a simpler place in time.” Who doesn’t need that right now?
