William Mills “Billy” Bingman, 55, of Patrick Springs, VA, died on Friday, December 4, 2020 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born on February 4, 1965 in Patrick County to the late William Allen Bingman. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his grandparents; Mr. and Mrs. Sandy Bingman and Mr. and Mrs. George Mills.
Surviving are his mother, Jeannie Mills Bingman of Patrick Springs, VA, three sisters; Cindy Bingman, Cheryl Wade (Tim) , Ashleigh Sawyers (Matthew) all of Patrick Springs, VA, nieces and nephews; Katie Cox, Kristinia Wade, James Wade, Brianna Sawyers, Makayla Sawyers and Aidan Sawyers.
He was a member Salem United Methodist Church and joined the church at age of nine, worked at Bassett Walker Knitting Company in Henry County for twenty three years and was the last employee before they closed. He also was a full time farmer at his home in Patrick Springs, VA.
The family will have a floating visitation on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at Norris Funeral Services Chapel in Stuart.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at 4:00 pm at Patrick Memorial Gardens with Reverend John Franklin officiating.
Due to covid-19 outbreak, all restrictions mandated by the guidelines set forth by the state must be followed.
