The Old Time and Bluegrass Music Competition was held at the Vesta Community Center on Wednesday, July 4.
Steve Hale received first place, Charlie Hawks received second, and Robert Stowe received third in the adult banjo competition.
Don Smith received first place and Jerry Foust received second in the adult guitar competition.
Elvin McMillan placed first in the adult mandolin competition.
Matt Kirwan received first, Jason Phillips received second, and Charlie Hawks received third in the adult fiddle competition.
For adult vocals, Don Smith received first place, Sue Nester came in second; David and Evadell Lion and Jimmy Handy received third.
Grace Tuddle received first place in child vocals.
The Easy Living Band received first place; Robert Stowe and the Twin County Ramblers came in second in the old time band competition.
For bluegrass bands, Mountain Melodies came in first and Sugar Loaf Mountain Band placed second.
Brenda Jones placed first, Wayne Hopkins placed second, and Gary Andrews placed third in the adult flat footing competition.
Ben Kirwan placed first and Kathy Kirwan placed second in the child flat footing competition.
